I need to get the monitor working through USB-C but I'm only getting "No signal detected". What I tried: Installing the driver ("LG HDR 4K Win 10 Driver LG_HDR_4K.zip") failed because the monitor is not detected. HDMI works, so the monitor works (but no 4K) Different USB-C ports; Different USB-C cables, inkl. the one shipped with the monitor
Display Port on LG 27GL850-B not working. Troubleshooting. I just bought my first proper "gaming" monitor but the DisplayPort doesn't work. I made sure that everything was properly connected, I downloaded the drivers and the OnScreen Control app but my computer still didn't detect the monitor. So after almost 2 hours of troubleshooting I
Transfer data easily from/to your LG monitor with the help of a USB. But what if your LG monitor may have recognized the USB drive once you attached it, but have been unable to access the data on it? You may have repeatedly attempted to connect to the USB device but failed, this is a sign of LG monitor USB ports not working, now what should you do?
If you read the manual that came with your LG display, you should see (on page 20, I think) the mention of both Power Delivery (provides charging through the USB-C port), and alternate mode (provides displayport video through the USB-C port). The CABLE has to support that mode, too --- not just the hardware.
The thunderbolt port passes both video and USB data between the first monitor and the PC. But it takes two connections to the second monitor, one for video and one for data. To get the USB Ports working on Monitor 2, you must connect the USB-C upstream port (port #8) of Monitor 2.
