well you may say the 24-105 F4-7.1 is slow but its all relative..canon in 20 years of EF-s, EF-m, and now RF-s APS-c lenses has only made 1` standard zoom that the equivalence of DOF and total light gathering was faster and that was the EF-s 17-55F2.8you will need a APS-c lens of 15-65 F2.5-4.5 to match it
